Prof. Robert Mihovilic

Academic, Prof. Dr. Dario Cebic (ordinary member of European Academy of Sciences and Arts). He attended elementary and secondary school, after which he started higher education in piano, composition, double bass, music science, music theory, music pedagogy, conducting and musicology. In 2007 he starts doctoral studies in music science. In 2012 he finished doctoral study (Dr. Phil ) at "Universität für Musik and darstellende Kunst" in Graz, and "Postgraduate study" in composition at "Universität für Musik and darstellende Kunst in Vienna" under professor Michael Obst. Specialisation: "Hans Eisler" Hochschule für Musik, Berlin; "Universität" Freiburg, "Hochschule für Musik" Frankfurt and "Impuls Academy". Selected prizes and awards: On February 5, 2020 awarded by the Croatian President for art, pedagogical work, and composition. 1st Prize on International Music Competition in Paris, Berlin, London, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Vienna, Mailand, Prague, Toronto, Sydney and Lisabon. 


Prof. Ulkemin Akbas

He recieved his undergraduate degree in composition from Bilkent University – Music and Performing Arts faculty. Earned his masters degree from the University of music and performing arts Graz. During his studies in Graz he worked with Beat Furrer and Klaus Lang. Following his graduate studies, Akbaş completed his postgradute studies at the University of music and performing arts Wien under the supervision of Michael Jarrell. He has attended masterclasses such as Darmstadt International Summer Courses for new music and Acathes. His pieces have been performed by reowned musicians in festivals such as 6th New Music Week of Shanghai, 2014 International New Music Week Bucharest . He has gained commisions from ensembles and soloists such as ensemble XX. Jahrhundert, Karşıyaka string orchestra and Neo tonarte orchestra ( spain ) . He currently is an instructor at the faculty of Music and Performing Art Bilkent.


Prof. Marco Reghezza

Graduated in Piano (1991) and Composition (1999) from the State Conservatory "Ghedini" in Cuneo. Graduated in Modern Literature (1994) from the University of Genoa.

Author of the book De bello pucciniano (Puccini's War), which has attracted the attention of national musicological critics, gaining the appreciation of recognized personalities in the field such as Renzo Cresti, the late Antonio Rostagno, .... and the praise of great performers such as Carlos Alvarez, Luciano Miotto, Israel Lozano, Placido Domingo.

His music has been performed in various European nations (Ravenna Festival, Royal Academy London, Italian Embassy Brussels, BKA Theater Berlin, Teatro Lope De Vega and Plaza San Francisco in Seville, International Festival of Classical Music of Croatia.. ), USA, Japan, Australia, and broadcast and presented by RadioRai3, Spanish National Radio, Bulgarian Radio Naz., Radio Cemat, Vatican Radio, Austrian Radio Naz. (ORF), Déjate TV, Costa Noreste televisión (Spain), Canal Sevilla Radio TV, TVE 24h International (Spain), RadioCapital (Argentina), CanalSur, España Radio Visión, ...

In 2012 her pieces were presented at the Italian/Spanish celebrations of the 25th anniversary of Segovia's death; in 2013 at the events related to the 300th anniversary of Corelli's death and at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro; in 2014 at the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of J. P. Rameau's death; in 2015 at the Italian/Spanish celebrations for the 500th anniversary of the birth of St. Teresa of Avila; and at the 2015 International Music Fairs in Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig, and Frankfurt.

Ramirez presented her new guitar models in 2016 in Pallanza with a performance of her music by Piero Bonaguri.

She has published for Ars Publica, Berben, Hyperprism, Carish, Sconfinarte, UtOrpheus, Echo, Simon Verlag (Berlin), Habanera (Lyon); her music recorded on CDs for Discantica, UtOrpheus/DotGuitar, Steirischer TonKunstlerbund, EMA Vinci, ZeitKlang (Hannover), Spona Classic (Zagreb); his pieces have been repeatedly reviewed in Il Fronimo, SeiCorde, Classical Guitar Magazine, American Guitar Foundation, Dotguitar, Turingischen Landes Zeitung, The Nation, ... . ... and in the online magazine

Chosen in 2013 by José Manuel Nunez De La Fuente, director of the Royal Foundation of Spain Atarazanas in Seville, to compose a work celebrating the 500th anniversary of Magellan's first circumnavigation of the Earth (1519-2019) and the establishment of the Red Mundial Ciudades Magallanicas (Global Network Magellan Cities). The work, composed with Giovanni Scapecchi and already presented to Pope Francis, is a project of national interest of the Spanish and Portuguese governments and involves artists such as Placido Domingo, Gustavo Dudamel, Carlos Alvarez, Israel Lozano, Luciano Miotto, ... https://www.operamagallanes.com/

Due to Covid the opera, rehearsals for which had already begun at the Teatro Real in Madrid, was halted in March 2020. With the resumption of activities, some pieces were presented in the most exclusive American theater, the Terrace Theatre of the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and at the Washington Opera Society.

Selected for the 2019 edition of the Ligurian Composer's Festival in Genoa, 2021 at Palazzo Ducale and 2023 at Teatro Carlo Felice.

He presented his own pieces on the final night of the 2014 and 2020 Strega Literary Prize in Cervo.

On Nov. 15, 2020, the "Gesualdo Bufalino" Foundation in Comiso (Ragusa) presented his 4 pieces on text by the Sicilian writer to commemorate the centenary of his birth.

He is founder/artistic director of the OpenOrchestra with which he has given more than 100 concerts and won the I Prize at the European Music Competition 2022 in Moncalieri.

Lecturer in Composition, from 2014 to 2017, at the San Marino International Summer Music Courses, sponsored by the Secretary of State, Education and Culture Office.

Awarded by the City of San Remo (2010) and the City of Taggia (in 2012 and 2022).

Special Prize National Poetry Competition Ossi di Seppia 2021 awarded by the jury and the City of Taggia for his work in popularizing art and Culture.

A signed photo of him is exhibited at the Francisco Escudero Private Museum in Madrid along with others of distinguished figures in culture, science, music, sports, history and cinematography.
